Basser Editor-in-Chief Sasaki's design, H-1 Gachi pitching color
This color was created at the request of Monthly Basser Editor-in-Chief Sasaki, who has been competing in the H-1 Grand Prix, a tournament where anglers trail the Kanto region's tournament lakes using only hard baits, for many years and has even won the event.
Sasaki himself has always trusted and used the High Cut DR SP shad plug, but this time the "Sasa Chart" colour was chosen as the colour he would like to throw when the water is slightly muddy, and he wanted a colour that was a little stronger than the "Moist Wakasagi" colour that he had been throwing frequently up until now, and this was made to meet his wish.
The base is brown back orange berry, but the orange of the berry is more pronounced and is prominent all the way to the tail. The sides are a pale but opaque chartreuse, and depending on the angle you look at it, it takes on a strong green hue when the water temperature drops, making it stand out.
